have extremely low internal friction, consume minimal air volume, are able to handle the most severe vibration and are available in stainless steel for complete protection against corrosion. The QTRCO Rack & Gear® thru-shaft design results in substantial space savings. These actuators have been proven to be excellent companions to quarter turn control valves including those with extended stems.
Top Mounted Tag Out Add-On
Our third generation, Top Mounted Lock Out has reduced the cost of this popular option. Whether double acting or spring return, the actuator can be locked into any specified travel position. Incorporating a simple Tag Out - Lock Out device for multiple pad locks enables confirmation that all workers have completed their tasks and are out of harms way before the actuator is once again able to cause valve motion.
Complete automation services are offered for the convenience of our customers. Our intent is to make life easier for those who choose QTRCO actuators. We design and provide brackets (including our easily mounted two-piece Omega design when applicable) and couplers.
The Omega Bracket option provides a two piece bracket assembly that greatly enhances the mounting process on small valves. Typical “C” shaped brackets allow minimal access making mounting a slow and tedious task.
Available in two sizes, 30mm x 80mm x 20mm tall and 30mm x 130mm x 30mm tall, these investment cast 316 stainless steel brackets are machined top and bottom to provide flat, parallel mounting surfaces. Use them to simplify accessory mounting at a competitive price.
TMX Mechanical PSTD
The TMX is for users who desire the lowest possible cost partial stroke testing device. The simple mechanical approach is lockable for assurance against unauthorized engagement. Engaging the top mounted slide limits the actuator rotation to a standard 15° or user specified value. Padlocks may be used to secure the slide in the engaged or disengaged position to prevent unauthorized use.
The jackscrew and end cap replace the standard end cap with a travel stop. Actuators in the field can be changed to or from a jack screw override by interchanging the end cap.
