CHALLENGE
Natural gas compressor discharge valves are typically large and use pneumatic actuators. This particular valve is modulating and requires precise control. Performance and delivery were key factors for this customer. (line pressure 1150-1350 psig)
SOLUTION
Because of the throttling performance benefits of QTRCO Actuators, the FD2375DA10 was chosen and installed on a 12” ball valve (with noise attenuation trim), using a digital positioner.
RESULTS
QTRCO was able to provide this turnkey solution on time and on budget, providing them with a solution that meets or exceeds expectations.
