CHALLENGE
Heavy crude filter banks typically consist of 12 or more actuated valves, and are subject to high ambient temperatures and cycle conditions. Current Actuators being used were not meeting the customer cycle life expectations.
SOLUTION
A complete package that consisted of Q Series ductile iron actuators (Stainless Steel cylinders) with High Temp trim suitable to 400°F, along with a metal seated ball valve.
RESULTS
Customer accepted this offer as a viable replacement to Morin, with consideration for more replacements on additional filter banks.
